Since starting as a Drum Instructor in 1975, I’ve been privileged to teach hundreds of students the way to tap into their natural skills and abilities to achieve results they never possibly dreamed of.

My philosophy has always been "It's just 2 pieces of wood hitting something. It's not Rocket Science..." Natural body movement is the key...Don't fight yourself! Despite that sounding easy, it’s often not. Using that natural body movement is a skill that can be taught–and that’s where I come in. In my 40+ years of experience providing drum lessons to everyone from 5-year old beginners to professional musicians, I’ve developed the ability to teach others how to tap into their natural skills and abilities, allowing them to play better, faster.

It's no secret I love what I do. It makes me so happy to be able to share my passion for drumming instruction with my students. I have been lucky enough to work with well-known touring drummers via YouTube and Skype, in addition to in-studio lessons. The end result is my students learn to play by ear–getting there is the Journey.
